ABOUT THIS BOARD
English Sycamore - A very heavy, dense hardwood with a pale brown or pink colour and occasional reddish streaks. Widely used in furniture making and well suited to end-grain chopping boards.
Special: Individually designed, one-of-a-kind boards created as functional works of art.
Standard - A clean and understated design with straight sides, no handles and rubber feet. Its simple profile keeps attention on the timber, grain and end-grain pattern while providing a stable, raised working surface. A dependable choice for customers who prefer a straightforward and timeless board.
CHARACTER BOARD — Grade 1
Grade 1 boards are structurally sound but contain visual characteristics such as knots or unusual grain patterns. They are ideal for customers who prefer a board with additional natural character.
Each board is graded individually and its defects are listed as accurately as possible. Each numbered grade is additional to the previous grade in terms of the types of characteristics that may be present, but only the one selected grade is assigned to the product.
